Are we required to use the AOD for Parish and School IT?
No. However, the Archdiocese of Detroit’s model is one designed in response to Action Step 3.2 from Unleash the Gospel to securely collaborate and communicate between the Diocese, Parishes, and Schools. It also considers simplifying and standardizing solutions that facilitate teamwork across a Family of Parishes. You are welcome to evaluate AOD’s services as part of Missionary Strategic Plans, as they are well-equipped not just to assist with cybersecurity and IT services but also how we can leverage standardized process, data and technology solutions that facilitate outreach, engagement, and follow-up for those seeking the Truth and the love of Jesus.
