Renewal of Certification
After certification has been granted for a period of five years, the candidate must apply for renewal of certification. Within the five year period, it is required to participate in fifty hours of ongoing formation. A log of this is to be kept and turned in. There are four major components to renewing certification:
- Renewal Application – the form is similar for initial certification. There is a box to check at the top that indicates renewal. The certification checklist must be consulted for other documentation to be submitted.
- Self-Assessment form – this is based off of the four pillars of formation from Co-Workers in the Vineyard of the Lord. The fifth section is based off of the particular ministry specialization you are renewing.
- Enrichment log – to document all ongoing formation since initial certification.
