What are cemetery perpetual care funds and who manages the funds?

The income from this fund is for perpetual upkeep and care of the individual lots and graves, and the maintenance, repair and future renewal of the borders, roads, water and sewer systems, enclosures and necessary buildings of the cemeteries. The Archdiocese of Detroit manages the funds.
