What services are offered by Archdiocesan Cemeteries?
Each family is provided a Family Service Advisor who can provide guidance into personalized needs and will walk individuals through the various services offered at the Archdiocesan Cemeteries. Services provided by our cemeteries include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ground burial
- Crypt burial
- Niche burial
- Private family estates
- Memorialization
- Military Services
- Mission Programs
- Parish Outreach
The Mission Programs include All Souls Remembrance, the Mother Teresa Program, the Precious Lives Program and the Family Heritage Program. A brief description of the various Mission Programs and corresponding services provided by the Archdiocesan Cemeteries follows:
All Souls Remembrance
CFCS offers a dignified committal in our All Souls Remembrance Crypt of the cremated remains of anyone, of any faith. This is available at no charge and ensures that cremated remains do not remain at home or end up forgotten or scattered, in keeping with the Order of Christian Funerals.
Mother Teresa Program
CFCS created this program, inspired by St. Teresa of Calcutta’s work with the poor, in order to provide sacred and dignified funeral and cemetery services to those who would otherwise be unable to pay for them.
Precious Lives Program
We care for the most vulnerable by laying to rest miscarriages and infant losses at no cost to grieving families.
Family Heritage Program
This unique program allows for graves, crypts or niches already owned by families to be transformed into a family estate. This option can serve as a final resting place for several cremated remains, allowing family members to be together on their final journey.
