*NEW* UNDERSTANDING THE CONTENT: EMPOWERING GOD’S CHILDREN
Crispin Montelione, the Content Creator for VIRTUS, will host a sit-down webinar for an open dialogue to clarify what Empowering God’s Children is and how to best utilize this program to meet the needs of our children. If your parish and school is struggling with this content or not currently utilizing this program (as required in the decree by the Archbishop HERE) and want to better understand it, please join us on Friday, October 24 from 10:00–11:30 a.m. Register HERE .
EDUCATE THE EDUCATOR: A WEBINAR ON HOW TO EQUIP OUR TEACHERS, DRE, & CATECHISTS ON HOW TO SUCCESSFUL TEACH EMPOWERING GOD’S CHILDREN
Crispin Montelione, Content Creator for VIRTUS, will also facilitate four webinars on how to better equip our educators, DRE’s, and catechists on Empowering God’s Children. She will go over the lesson plans, how to deliver the content to both the children and the parents, what makes this educational program successful in your parish or school, and what to do when you receive push back.
If you can’t make it to this session, we will have three more in the coming months!

BACKGROUND CHECK AUTHORIZATION MASS EMAIL SEND OUT
The new Background Check Authorization Form will finally be sent via email to all our current users. By Monday, everyone employee and volunteer in the Archdiocese of Detroit will receive the following email:

You are receiving this email to fill out the Background Check Authorization Form. You may have seen a hard copy of this form and filled it out before at your parish or school. As part of our due diligence to standardize this process, we ask you to fill out this form digitally one time for the duration of your volunteer or employment.
Upon completion of this form, it will ask if you would like to download a PDF version of it for your safe keeping, please feel free to do so.
