Webinar About Required MDE Annual Reporting | August 7 at 2:00 p.m.
The Nonpublic School Act (1921 PA 302) permits the State Superintendent to collect basic information about nonpublic schools in the state. In addition, all schools, including nonpublic schools, are required to submit specific information about all school employees in nonpublic schools. The reports register your nonpublic school with MDE and enable schools to participate in federal Title programs and to receive applicable state and federal grant funds. Failure to complete these reports is a serious matter.
Join the Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and MANS on August 7 at 2:00 p.m. for an informational webinar with Kevin Walters, Supervisor, Grants, Contracts and School Support, Office of Financial Management, MDE. Mr. Walters will provide an overview of the reports and direct you to the appropriate reporting systems. Existing and new administrators are encouraged to participate but new administrators will find this especially helpful as they also need to be fully registered with the state as a nonpublic school administrator.
This webinar will be recorded, however attending live is encouraged to have questions answered. Click here to register.
