New and Updated Announcements

New: Department of Catholic Schools Hires New Associate Superintendent

Please join us in welcoming our newest associate superintendent, Mrs. Kimberly Vigneron. During the challenges of last year, which we navigated with God’s grace and the efforts of all our school leaders, it became apparent that there was a need for additional support. Following standard hiring practices, the Archdiocese formed an interview team that included staff from the Department of Catholic Schools, principals from our elementary and high schools, as well as a representative from the presbyterate. At the conclusion of the search process, the committee unanimously selected Kim to be the next member of our team. Her start date will be August 17. Continue reading

Deadline Approaching: Religion Assessment

As indicated previously, we had taken a pause from the Religion Assessment during COVID. During the pause, a Religion Assessment Review Committee was formed to edit and revise the assessment. The committee met over the course of the past year and concluded their work. As such, K-8 schools are expected to administer the Religion Assessment this school year (2022-2023) to grade 1-8 students. With this in mind, please submit the most current enrollment numbers for students who will be taking the assessment (grades 1-8) using this form, by Friday, August 5.

Please see further details about the Religion Assessment here.

New: FACTS—Archive Report Cards Before Aug. 12

FACTS will be removing the skill sets from all schools as this area within the report cards caused some confusion last year. If your teachers used the skill sets last year and that data was not reentered into the proper place, you will need to archive your report cards to ensure that historical data is not lost. Please follow the attached directions to archive your report cards from the 21-22 school year before Aug. 12.

Please contact Dr. Bluestein if you have any questions.
